Death Grips made an announcement which implied that Andy Morin was no longer with the band, on April 2025.

Death Grip was composed of 3 band members: Stefan Burnett aka MC Ride (vocals/rapper), Zach Hill (drummer), and Andy Morin (electronic samples and keyboard)

Death Grips has not released an album for the past 8 years.

Death Grips announced that they are working on a new album in November 2025. Presumably without Andy Morin.

yeah this is sadly not surprising given some of the rumors that were floating around Ride and Zach Hill's falling out with him, I think an ex partner of his also hinted at emotional abuse on social media. hope the other two members aren't scumbags, but important reminder that just because you connect with someone's art doesn't mean you have any sense of what kind of person they are. moreover, hope survivors of his abuse find peace & justice.

They haven't released an album in a long time but did tour just a few years back without Morin. So not really surprised either.
