i sure as shit hope so. I can't deal with ADHD anymore without meds. It's ridiculous. Truly. I'm so forgetful. I have CHRONIC executive dysfunction etc.
Wow, I have the same predicament (pending diagnosis). I have heart failure, what is your issue if you don't mind me asking?
I thought the doctor said something like arrhythmia, but i got my results the other week sometime, and it wasn't anything. she said there's nothing showing as something that would cause me to not be able to take stimulants
Oh right, I'm glad for you it wasn't anything! Now go get your stimulants tiger!
gotta get dx'd first. I have my computer test in a few weeks, then i will got for my follow-up, and hopefully get diagnosed. tbh, I'm not 100% sure i actually want stimulants. I had insomnia for 1.5 decades. i can't go back to that. But it's good to have the option available.
Would ADHD meds cause insomnia? I have no idea, I thought the drug would be out of your system by bedtime, although if you're anything like me and can't sleep because you looked in the direction of a bag of coffee after 1pm, I'd imagine it's very possible it could affect your sleep. And I agree that's not something you'd want, perish the thought! Well best of luck to you!
