I have been multiple home pods at work, and one at home and when playing music from my iPhone or iPad (both iOS 26.2) via tidal to the home pods the sound stops sometimes every other song. The music continues to play, and it I start the song over or skip it the audio comes back.

I also stream tidal from my iPhone to my truck through Bluetooth and it seems fine (I am not driving more than a song or three lately so I cannot say with 100% certainty that I does not happen in the truck).

Today I tried streaming using my old iPad with iOS 16.7 and so far so good.

I am guessing it is something between HomePods and iOS 26+, but tidal is my only music service currently so I cannot fully rule that out.

I have reinstalled tidal, restarted devices, and speakers.

I did a search for the problem and I cannot find anything regarding 26 and tidal specifically.

Anyone else have this issue and find a fix for it?
