Be Kind Rewind is a quirky movie where they end up making these Mockbusters. Don't recommend if you don't like Jack Black. Do recommend if you like Mos Def.

Oh yeah for years the gas stations up and down I95 would have racks of these things.
Titles like World WarsZ, Saving Private Rian, etc etc
Huh. I never remember noticing. Maybe it's a U.S. thing.
I95 is in the US..
Naw counterfeit movies, books and music is everywhere.
On the other hand, “Saving Ryan’s Privates” is a completely different type of movie.
HEHE!
I used to love them ,they got me into B movies some so bad they were actually good, Asylum did a lot of them.
This is how we end up with Sharknado.
Including such classics as
Transmorphers
Age of the Hobbits
Snakes on a Train
The DaVinci Treasure
And many more
Back in the day when Netflix was fairly new and still had a comment feature you had to be careful you weren't accidently renting one of these. Always had to check the comments.
Some of them were pretty good, tbh
There’s that one studio infamous for this that has made movies like Atlantic Rim which is a copy of Pacific Rim. The Asylum is the name of that studio.
Dis not Blockbuster... dis Blockblister
Is better. Much better!
I'm glad some people got that reference. 😁
Mah-hah!
Time to bring in the dancing lobsters!
I like eggs
Huh. Never seen one of those in the flesh. I guess they don't travel outside the US much.
I'm aware of Sharknado, but I though it was original.
