Rulesβ¦
- Women onlyβ¦ trans women are women, and transphobic or gender critical talk isnβt allowed. Anyone under the trans umbrella (e.g. non-binary, bigender, agender) is free to decide whether a women's community is a good fit for them.
- Donβt be a dick. No personal attacks, no aggression, play nice.
- Donβt hate on groups, hatefilled talk about groups is not allowed. Ever.
- No governmental politics, so no talk of Trump actions etc. We recommend Feminism@beehaw.org for that, but here is an escape from it.
- New accounts or users with few comments may have their posts removed to prevent spam and bad-faith participation.
I feel so called out
But how, when this is the only comfy one?
Uuhhhh... thanks for the reminder π
I got lucky, I found a brand that fits me perfectly and their bras are only $20-25. So every few years, I buy 7 then wear one each day of the week and wash monthly. I also use laundry bags when I wash them and I hang dry them instead of using the dryer. I get a lot more time out of my bras since I started doing that.
Definitely longer
At the moment I only own two "real" bras and a handful of sports bras. The real bras are pocketed for prosthetics, so are quite expensive. I only wear the real bras for a few hours at a time, so I figure they can go at least two weeks. The sports bras get stuffed with one of the "knitted knockers" fiberfill prosthetics that I got in the mail a couple of weeks before surgery. They get washed right after being worn for exercise, prosthetic and all.
Guilty as charged. I've a bra I haven't washed in like two weeks... π
It's been so long, it's growing another strap.
