It's obvious they apprehended the wrong individual - and then it appears they tampered with the evidence so that a good example can be made out of one who kills a mass-murdering CEO.
This is horrible and I hope the tables are turned for Mr. Mangione.
On another matter, I hope health insurance executives get what they deserve.
There's an argument to be made, like how silly it is that the guy who snuck into NYC, killed a CEO on the street, and successfully snuck out just happened to be found with a backpack full of evidence and the murder weapon.
Makes no sense and I honestly think that, even if Luigi is the guy (which I don't concede), that he was railroaded.

Seriously, they messed up his arrest and legal process so bad that I'm almost convinced they got the wrong guy.
Jury Nullification.
Let's say he (or anybody else) is found not guilty. You can just be kept in jail for years, waiting for the court date, even though you are innocent? How is it not ridiculous?
Someone can be arrested for a made up reason that the judge will throw out in 5 minutes, but they have to wait months/years for that to happen?
The defendant usually waives their right to a speedy trial in felony cases and asks for continuances pre trial, which his lawyers did in this federal case.
