BEIJING, Jan. 27 (Xinhua) -- China will roll out policy measures aimed at addressing the impact of artificial intelligence (AI) on jobs as rapid technological adoption has reshaped the country's labor market.

The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security said on Tuesday at a press briefing that an official document will be released to respond to the AI's impact and promote employment.

Alongside the AI-focused policy, authorities will also introduce targeted employment support for key industries and expand assistance for priority groups, including university graduates and other young jobseekers, according to the ministry.

Wow, preemptively planning for AI's impact on jobs! Incredibly common-sense stuff that would be earth-shattering in the USA, where the most we can do is wait for everyone to be made homeless by AI first, then implement anti-homelesss policies and meager job-retraining programs.

I would like to see a policy to end employment, or at reduce least worked hours, but at the current state of AI employing everyone while using AI to the fullest would be a great way to grow a country as well.

The more we develop AI the sooner we can end employment.

that may or may not be good depending on whether you live under capitalism or not

Sorry, I should've clarified. I meant under socialism.

Good and sensible, and a further distinction between socialism and capitalism when it comes to handling technological progression and automation.
