You were 100% correct! I looked and did not find it, but the wife dug around and found it, saving ~~my life~~ me further headache.
I owe her again. And thanks to you too.
Ha! That's hilarious! I'm glad I could help!
I lost a sticker I specifically separated from the other stickers to take to work to attach to a magnet so I could have it stuck to my tool box without having to commit to actually sticking it to my tool box and I am so sad about that, so I feel your pain.
I'm sure it's in a very very safe place I will never check again.
I been having the ocds lately. I keep wanting to catalogue everything i have from Digital to Physical
even came up with the idea that everything, objects and actions, can categories into systems:
Systems
- File system
- Partition system
- Backup system
- Lab system
- Task manager system
- Note taking system
- Library system
- Cinema system
- health system
- Learning system
- Contact, calendar, task manager and email system
- Social system
- Threat level system
- Emergency system
- Contact system
- Journal system
- Share system
- internet data quota management system
- Paper document management system(and its backup)
- Home economics system
- Savings system
- Research system
- Browser system
- App (web vs mobile vs PC) system
- Archive system
- Time management system
- Security system
- Legal system
- Safety system
- Convince system
- Hygiene system
- Tool system
- Digital Storage system
- Linux system
- cleaning systems
- organization system
- inventory system
- de-cluttering system
- digital identity system
- account system
- writing system
- social media posting system
- review system
And you can further group and fuse systems but keeping a record of your every breath is its own hell.
I never let my drawers get cluttered though, unlike my mom. I even go through it with her to organize and de-clutter(for context: this specific drawer doesn't contain clothes or her own personal stuff, like screw drivers, hammers, blood glucose meters, first-aid stuff, balance meters etc, making it a mini-storage unit of the house). I even label my own drawers.
And you forgot the most important of them all: System system!
This post gives me anxiety....now where's that thing I left on my desk 4 weeks ago
