On his defense, there was apparently a 2 hour legal discussion on the topic. His statement was correct within the legal framework established. Out of context it sounded dodgy as hell though.
Yeah, I mean, at one point they were arguing over the legal definition of the word is, that soundbite wasn't from anything resembling a normal conversation.

I went to school under that assholes changes. He was the first in many that have killed the education system in this country.
