I gotta wonder how long it took the photographer to set up this photo. I mean, they were probably sitting there with a little paintbrush gently sweeping away dirt from the roots just to get the perfect root exposure for this pic.
Probably a quicker option is to soak off all the soil, pick those with nice equal length roots then arrange against a cleanly cut block of earth. There's no more radishes either side so you'd have to plant a fair few lines so you'd end up with one with such a neat row I reckon.
The little one in the middle definitely looks cross.
