"As revolutionaries, we don't have the right to say that we're tired of explaining. We must never stop explaining. We also know that when the people understand, they cannot but follow us. In any case, we, the people, have no enemies when it comes to peoples. Our only enemies are the imperialist regimes and organizations." Thomas Sankara, 1985

With this election outcome, more nationalist hardline declarations and legislation are to be expected, along with increased economic and industrial instability due to additional Chinese sanctions in response to japan attempt to militarize.

We have been at war for a long time.

It's just different. I suppose you could call it "cold" but I never liked the name, because look at how deadly shit like sanctions are.

Francisco Rodríguez and colleagues once again demonstrate that sanctions do kill: economic sanctions imposed by the USA or the EU were associated with 564 258 deaths (95% CI 367 838–760 677) annually from 1971 to 2021, higher than the annual number of battle-related casualties (106 000 deaths).

Japan is a beautiful country, that has been utterly fucked over by US imperialism.

The LDP was created by former fascists, and propped up by the CIA to prevent the Left from taking power in the country, and it's been a faux-democracy ever since.

I can't fathom how libs think Japan is some LeBased Liberal Democracy, when this one far right party has governed almost uninterrupted since the 50s. It fails even by lib standards
