Hey I think this is now resolved. You were not the intended target of a ban. Figured I would leave a comment if anyone else saw this and was wondering.

That's a lot of bans. On first glance it would seem like overkill. What was the explanation given?

They said it was an error made by the mod. The ban has been lifted as of now.

It's actually one ban. AFAIK when a user from a federated instance is instance banned on Lemmy, it will also automatically display a ban for every community in which they participated, even though they were not manually banned from every community.

As Saymaz said, this ban was actually by mistake (an admin accidentally clicked the wrong user in the UI and didn't notice until later).

It's an error on mod's side. Summit messed up admin tools.
