I just don’t know how to get these videos in front of trumpers. Propaganda machines are a bitch.
THE POLICE PROBLEM
The police problem is that police are policed by the police. Cops are accountable only to other cops, which is no accountability at all.
99.9999% of police brutality, corruption, and misconduct is never investigated, never punished, never makes the news, so it's not on this page.
When cops are caught breaking the law, they're investigated by other cops. Details are kept quiet, the officers' names are withheld from public knowledge, and what info is eventually released is only what police choose to release — often nothing at all.
When police are fired — which is all too rare — they leave with 'law enforcement experience' and can easily find work in another police department nearby. It's called "Wandering Cops."
When police testify under oath, they lie so frequently that cops themselves have a joking term for it: "testilying." Yet it's almost unheard of for police to be punished or prosecuted for perjury.
Cops can and do get away with lawlessness, because cops protect other cops. If they don't, they aren't cops for long.
The legal doctrine of "qualified immunity" renders police officers invulnerable to lawsuits for almost anything they do. In practice, getting past 'qualified immunity' is so unlikely, it makes headlines when it happens.
All this is a path to a police state.
In a free society, police must always be under serious and skeptical public oversight, with non-cops and non-cronies in charge, issuing genuine punishment when warranted.
Police who break the law must be prosecuted like anyone else, promptly fired if guilty, and barred from ever working in law-enforcement again.
That's the solution.

Our definition of ‘cops’ is broad, and includes prison guards, probation officers, shitty DAs and judges, etc — anyone who has the authority to fuck over people’s lives, with minimal or no oversight.

I've SHOWN these types of videos to my sister.
Quick recap on who my sister is. You know how Elon Musk thinks he has people who worship him? He's not wrong. My sister is one of them. She defended his nazi salute a year ago as being "just an arm twitch".
When I refused to call the cops on my neighbors, my sister would not believe me when I said cops routinely kill. She was making it seem like I was being an absurd conspiracy theorist.
When I showed her video after video she said "that doesn't prove anything. You don't know the context before the video started"
Showed her a video from 2013, literally 15 streets from my house of 2 police shooting a 13 year old boy, who had a toy gun. She defended the cops by saying "they thought it was real". Which may have been true. However, their tires hadn't even come to a full stop on pulling up to the scene before he was shot dead. Total time from the time the cops door opened on a still moving cop car to the time he shot a 13 year old was 3.2 seconds. Literally. We measured it in the audio. You can't show up, and do police work, defuse the situation, and take the suspect into custody if you kill them in 3 seconds. Fake gun or not, that's just murder. That cop knew he was shooting before he got out of the car.
So it doesn't matter if magats see these videos. Their own goalposts move to suit their own narrative so they can never be wrong.
Well good on you for your efforts anyway. But the thing is national news media does have a place in the minds of trumpers whether they admit it or not, and repeatedly showing these videos is an argument by itself.
That mechanism is just being stopped cold by trump and the billionaires.
