"meshtastic does more than simple communication"...continues to describe how they used simple communication in meshtastic to do something...Okeey then.

Well, setting up an optical movement sensor and using it as an alarm at a remote location through MQTT and Home Assistant is NOT simple communication.

We saw these things in spy movies back in the day.

Making faint nostangia noises

I guess more means automation, not just two people talking.

It is only using meshtastic to send a simple binary trigger, that is about as simple as it gets.
