They are punished harder both in school and the American "justice" system, and if they show a shred of vulnerability, they are culturally ostracized too.

Men are too busy working 2-3 jobs in order to afford a roach-infested studio to worry about women, especially now that the so-called progressives (but really liberals) have decided that food and housing becoming cost-prohibitive is an okay thing. This is reflected in the decreasing population growth, birth, and marriage rates.
