Yes, that is literally their job. Unless shareholders are held criminally responsible, the blatant criminality of corporations won't end.
Committing crimes is not "literally their job." They can and should be held accountable, separately from shareholders.
Their job is to generate shareholder value by any means necessary. A corporation is not human, it can't be bound by moral values or laws.
