I hate that my first thought isnt "Hey thats pretty cool," but instead "What kind of metric are they trying to game by having every account log in?"

EDIT: Its not "free," you still have to spend Spartan Points to "buy" the items.

There are a few specific items that came from limited time challenges and haven't been available since, those are the now 'free' items.
