I'm on both and intend to find out. I suspect that is not possible though. You can follow your Funkwhale account from Mastodon, yet you can't lookup and follow any mastodon accounts.

Share you funk whale account when you. I'm curious too.
Just tested it out. Can't even see any media that I added to my funkwhale account, or listened to. This applies to music and a podcast. I hope the refactor of Funkwhale ships with a strong emphasis on federation with more ActivityPub services.
I got similar results. However, fediverse servers pull data from other servers only after someone subscribes to profiles on them. I'm setting my own Funkwhale instance and when it's up, I'll try subscribing from Mastodon and then uploading something
I thought funkwhale is dead
Edit: last time I checked, the funkwhale.audio website was offline and I could not find a maintained Git repo, but now the site is online and the Git repo has had recent updates. I don't know what happened
They are close to releasing a version 2.0 that was afaik largely rewritten.
do you know off the top of your head when the devs said the update is supposed to release?
They are on an advanced release candidate for v2.0 so it should be soon: https://dev.funkwhale.audio/funkwhale/funkwhale/-/tags
