A suspected Iranian drone attack hit the CIA’s station at the U.S. Embassy in Saudi Arabia on Monday, in what would amount to a symbolic victory for the Islamic republic as it lashes out at U.S. targets and personnel across the Middle East, according to two people familiar with the matter.

The U.S. and Saudi governments confirmed that two drones hit the U.S. Embassy complex in Riyadh but did not disclose that America’s spy hub was hit in the attack.

WP repeated suggestion that KSA thought this was bestest war ever prior to attack. Iran does not believe this, afaiu, and it is intriguing considering Gulf state threats of withdrawing investments in US, and mass starvation that threatens them as a result of Straits of Hormuz closure.

Coming soon to American soil, I wager. I wonder if they'll refer to this as a war when that happens?

That would be unwise because it would make Trump push the red button. But in the neighbouring countries 👍. About time the US is fucked out of that region. 🤞It will be an example for South America as well.

The administration refers to it as a war now, or at least they did, they just won't officially label it a war
