I would not argue against that. Maybe people went into a "wait and see" mode.
If there is a hell, or reincarnation we can only hope he gets the consequence and judgement he deserves in the final. Yeah, he "lived a good life" on this Earth doing whatever the fuck he wanted but hopefully he pays the ultimate price in eternity if that even is a thing.
