I miss that pleasure. Insomnia sucks. Going to sleep and staying asleep takes so much effort. Thanks for ruining my sleep, ME/CFS.

I think, that's starting to happen only after 25-ish years of age. Until that moment your body is developing.
Your body is still constantly dying a little. Even as a child your cells continuously renew.

My body asks me to rest at different times than my job does
Sounds like a good argument for moving to a new time zone while staying in the same job, working remotely. Or finding a new remote job in a different time zone in the opposite direction. Whichever doesn't land you in the middle of an ocean, unless I guess it would put you on a lovely island with good internet
