Same here. I stopped watching TV because it has everything that I hate: ads and shitty content that I do not control.

Also my streaming service runs on a server in my living room, so it doesn't need internet as long as I'm home.
I do have a telly, but it's not hooked up to any aerial or anything; it's purely used for streaming or DVDs.
I haven't watched straight up broadcast TV in literally years. Maybe 2016?

Damn. I miss having the cold tolerance of being from Seattle. I used to walk miles in the rain with no jacket. Then I spent a few years in California for university and my constitution adapted to that permanently for some fucking reason - now I live in the UK and everyone's all smirking when I need a big coat. I have been waching broadcast tv and I keep it on in the background all day. 10am hour is I dream of genie. then its back to news for 2 hours and then ice road truckers for two hours.
