This story buries the lede. The real fucked-up thing is that they made a city-wide HOA that's basically an unaccountable shadow government designed to circumvent the normal democratic process of how a city is held accountable to the public.
Mildly Interesting
This is for strictly mildly interesting material. If it's too interesting, it doesn't belong. If it's not interesting, it doesn't belong.
This is obviously an objective criteria, so the mods are always right. Or maybe mildly right? Ahh.. what do we know?
Just post some stuff and don't spam.
In Minnesota? I think they picked a really great place to do this, since it's so hard to believe.
Google actually gave up mapping Germany in street view, because anyone could ask for their property to be censored. It was just too much hassle. Sadly since then, the German public, much like the rest of the western world, has been pacified by Big Tech, so Google started mapping again.
Thwy did in Germany years ago.
It's just that every 10th house was censored ;)
I think they are at it again. There is more and more recent street view data now.
Yes they are. But as a German citizen you can still have your property be pixelated.
True but I think fewer people are doing it.

In a way, aren't they all Target executives?
