Obviously KD is a way better player on the court. But is he actually more "toxic" than Brooks? I feel like these two clips And the whole" Getofmydickerson" thing point to yes?

the main problem is they have no offense, they would clearly be way worse.

KD Rockets: 45-29 Brooks Rockets: 52-30

KD Suns: 36-46 Brooks Suns: 41-33

The teams with KD on them have a worse record than the teams with Brooks.

you’re missing other factors like the Rockets not having FVV all season.

No, I just don't think Fred is that much better than Reed Shepherd. It's not like Fred is Luka or something. We've never seen FVV and Durant play together though, so I might be way off here. It might also be a coaching issue. That also doesn't explain why the Suns are better this season.

What I'm asking though, is Kevin Durant just a toxic player? Every team he's on turns to shit at some point, when is it just Durant that's the problem. On the other hand, every team with Brooks on it seems to have great chemistry. It's a lot easier to play good team basketball when you actually like your team.

KD was far from the biggest problem with that Suns team. Their "big 3" were a terrible fit with no complementary skills. They had no assets to fill out the team around the big 3, so they had no PG and no Center. They changed coaches every season. They were over the 2nd tax apron that restricted their options even more.

Do you mean on the court, in the locker room, or both?

I gave you an entire list of basketball reasons. how are any of us supposed to know what's going on in the locker room? If you want to speculate about that, go right ahead, but that's all it'll ever be.

That's literally what this post is about, why even comment in the first place lol?

Would the Rockets be better off with Dillon Brooks over KD?

that is the question i answered.
