Such an obvious scam. They promise high end hardware, then delay several months until 'high end' becomes 'mid or entry level', buy the lower costnhardware and harvest the difference.

Old high end phones are much better than new low end even after a few years. They are definitely not getting high end components.
They needed the time to find the lowest bidder.
I'm ok with this because now instead of just losing the $100 deposit the dipshits who bought into this are going to lose hundreds more.
Im wondering how many people who put a deposit down are actually just reporters. I don’t know anyone in real life who has and I live in a red state.
