I appreciate the sentiment, but who’s building an AI data center in Seattle?

The Seattle Times reported five separate data centers that were planned within the Seattle metro, adding up to something like half the total power we consume in the city currently. The prevalence of cheap hydro power in the pnw has made it a desirable destination for data centers.
Just a year? C'mooooon. Permanent!!!
The last one built in Seattle was 2013.
This is another nothingburger.
These cogsucking politicians need to start statewide bans.
It's not that you're wrong in this specific case, but every time I see an article that even vaguely mentions WA, I can count on you to be in the comments shitting all over the WA legislature for something. Ever since you said that blue states deserved what was coming to them from ICE for having gun control, I know you'll be here in the comments, like clockwork.
It's more than other places are doing and is a hard block for at least a year. It's not nothing, it's progress and hopefully the start of a trend.
