The meeting between Akane and Issho went about more or less how i expected. This episode felt like a breather after the hype of the previous one. I wonder how Episode 12 would be like. The Kappore dance was foreshadowed in the OP.

This has been a great watch so far.

To its credit, that wasn't quite as repulsive as I thought it was going to be.

I hadn't considered using a barrage of emotional whiplash to disguise the fact that you're retconning your characters.

Edit to add, by way of quick example in place of the longer critique I'm tempted to write:

Issho's explanation would've justified failing them. It doesn't justify expelling them.

And Akane would've known that.
