We all have to support it, but moving to this position where that’s been taken off the table was worth it.

That's weird, as someone living in the West, I've never felt threatened by Iran in any real way.
But then it looks like this war failed to achieve it's objective and thus can not be considered "worth it"? Even worse it created a precedent for another economic weapon, namely blocking the Hormuz strait. Nuclear is not of the table, at least to my knowledge.

My comment was just that the comment from the PM was so big of a lie that it's not even worth addressing.
The PM just needs to make a public apology and correct himself.

Maybe worth it to let the U.S. reduce its influence on the world. And maybe for showing enough Americans that Trump and co are actually incompetent.
