Ms. Rachel is our generation's Mr. Rogers. These are the kind, wise, and thoughtful leaders showing us the way to a better and more peaceful future for everybody, we just need to start shaping the way we do things to look a little bit more like the way they show us instead of the way we've always done things. We need to be able to admit that the way we've always done things is wrong.

Ms Rachel is fucking badass

[–] lacethespace@sh.itjust.works 45 points 1 day ago

The only important topic.

I don't fucking care about peeling paint and aelge, or the world cup, or the heat wave (unless we're talking climate action).

Thank you for using your influence to send this message, and for beautifully putting into words what we all feel.

Unless there is a massive paradigm shift, the US will never disavow Israel. Trump would just as happily bomb a European state in defense of Israel.

Every time I read articles, see pictures, and videos of the absolute terror these people live in each day, I feel such despair. What would it take for the people capable of stopping the Israeli threat, to act? Because I’ve read accounts from reputable sources that would horrify any reader, corroborated by pictures/video. But it’s not enough?

One day, Israel will stop. It will be because their final solution completed.

Damn us all.

The paradigm shift has already happened; it’s just going to take a bit to kick in. The numbers are clear for >70% of the electorate and politicians under the age of 60. Hamas already won. The idea of Israel is over, it’s just going to take a couple of decades.

This is a really confusing statement.

Hamas wasn't attempting to win anything but the freedom of Palestinians. Hamas was the the resistance against Israel. Until Israel ceases it's genocide, Hamas will not win. Palestinians will not win.

The Palestinians do not have a couple of decades at the current rate.

Simultaneously, I don't think anyone supports the idea of dismantling the Israeli state - that would cause a humanitarian crisis itself.

What we all agree on is that we need to stop funding Israel entirely. That might happen sooner than later.

Hamas is a terrorist organization seeking the dismantling of the Israeli state.

Israel cannot exist without external support.

You are right about one thing — you are confused.

World Leaders:

[–] lmdnw@lemmy.world 10 points 1 day ago

Ms. Rachel has more courage and conviction than the leaders of western superpowers. The people are governed by evil and cowardly politicians.

What do Israel and the US think these kids will grow up wanting to do?

They were busy heading to bank to cash their AIPAC check

STOP SPREADING MISINFORMATION!
...it wasn't cheques. It was cash. A shit ton of untraceable cash.

And as there was a lot of it it took them a long time to hide it in their offshore accounts.

Can't believe she'd say something so antisemitic /s

[–] lemonbun@lemmy.world 2 points 1 day ago

and I bet you're ass many of the same leaders are in the files.

Whispering the plain simple truth sounds so ear deafeningly loud compared to the grand evasion moves.
