Some of us weren't so lucky in high school...

I have read this is actually an ADHD thing.

The caffine smooths things out enough that you can sleep, essentially.

Yep. it's one of the reasons we've known my daughter had it since before she was born actually. While my partner was pregnant basically the only thing she could do for her migraines was caffeine. When she'd have it she could literally feel the girl twin go to sleep and the boy twin get more active.

You can have ADHD and still react normally to stimulants, but as far as I'm aware it's basically impossible to react that way to stimulants without having ADHD.

Not sure about that last bit. Caffeine just makes me better able to deal with other peoples' bullshit. I can drink a cup at midnight and go right to bed with no problem whatsoever.

That and ADHD people are just usually hard addicted to it in the first place.

Cacao has become my new source of caffeine with the added effects of theobromine. I find it works much better for me compared to tea or coffee.

Yes, although it's a fairly small amount of caffeine compared to coffee.

Guess I have to eat a bunch of chocolate to test if this works for me.

Just make sure it's real chocolate and not whatever the fuck "chocolatey" is that I started seeing on some packages.

Okay but NyQuil, ZzzQuil, Benadryl etc all make me uncomfortably hyperactive.
