SIlly place to bank if you are politically active and not extremely conservative. Short-sighted to have most of the money in any one bank. Still seems wrong the bank stole their money and aren't talking, though.
It they're not explaining why then they've likely fallen fowl off anti money laundering laws. Maybe they've had some transactions with sanctioned accounts?
Or they're being accused of supporting terrorist organizations because they don't condone genocide.
