Do they like the character or the guy who plays him? I haven't read the book or seen what I think is a show but might be a movie.

I'm confused by what this is supposed to show us. You know most character.ai characters are themselves created by bots, right?

Anyway, after skimming the wiki article and supposing you are right....

He plays into the "bad boy" trope. Lots of women have D/s sex fantasies, and the rebellious high school bully can fit the Dom role pretty well. Bonus fantasy points if he deep down has a heart of gold

Yeah. I still don't understand but knowing the context that he's a bully, my guess would be "bad boy syndrome".
