I saw Mickey Mouse shaped fireworks at Disney world. The only thing was they clearly couldn’t control the orientation so occasionally Mickey would be upside down or sideways. I would imagine the same would be true here.
Also why is "NIGHT SHELLS" in English?

And why stop there? Doesn't it seem like other letters would be possible and that they would be listed adjacently?
Wow those illustrations are really something special. Even without the context of the article (which is great) they have such a unique vibe.
They remind me of Hanafuda cards which I think look really pretty in a naive exotic style. More about Hanafuda.
