Finishes updating? Pfffft we didn't have updates back then
I know right? This meme was made by the youth.
Not disagreeing, but it could also just be dream logic.
Definitely, since being in your 30's is far from being too late to meet someone. Only a kid/tween would cry about thinking they would be alone in their thirties.
during my time, we always had updates, just they came via the cd of your favorite game magazine.
nah I was definitely waiting on CoD updates on PS3 in high school
Many such cases.
In my 30s, got kids, family, friends even. Still game on occasion. No shame in being 30s.
This meme isn't about you lol. It's about people who didn't achieve what we did. About those who are perpetually online/gaming and don't manage to meet someone.
It's not a post saying being in your 30's is a bad thing.
Waking up alone in my 30s would have been the best financial circumstance of my adult life.
Good times, except the "online" for us was invariably at LAN parties with adhoc SC Broodwar tournaments, Halo CtF & FFA, and WoW Alterac Valley shenanigans.
If you are gaming with your friends online, does that really make you alone tho?
I took it there's a decade or two before the last panel
If it was a dream, yeah?
I dont know why the image isn't loading for me, was this deleted?
You don't want to look. The level of emotional damage it inflicts is just too damn high.
Still works on Lemmy's web interface, but I don't recognize the hosting service.
