It is profoundly sick and I've been dealing with it since they first incorporated it into their engines. It has a long history but I recall SEO changes immediately preceding the implementation and requirement of AI in their tools, then increasingly stringent requirements for users thereafter regarding the data they would take from them. Knowing that many people are probably boycotting google is primarily why I built my own Single Sign-On (SSO) for my product, so users would never have to share their data with Alpha/Google. My SSO is called AUSUM ID, I'm using it for all of my many in-development products. However I've run out of my own funds to continue trying to compete against large companies. I'm struggling to survive now, and fear the future of trying to compete with big companies.
