This is hopeful! My youngest has been diagnosed with BPD and it's been really hard on the whole family.

Unfortunately, there is a massive leap from genetics to treatment. Many diseases genes get cloned and then nothing progresses. This is compounded by governments worldwide that are scaling back biomedical research while spending orders of magnitude more money on war toys.

It's difficult to underestimate how much damage Trump did to medical research, and in a few years most suppliers for this research will be gone, the next generation of scientists does not exist.
