I like Rings of Power, but it's definitely got good stories and really bad stories. The Celebrimbor story last season was excellent. The Gandalf story last season sucked (except that one scene), and Numenor is god awful.

But there are definitely people who have never watched it who just hate it and will always hate and will take every chance to tell you how much they hate it.

"No-one is safe"... idk. Pretty sure he'll make it, lose it, then it gets melted. So much build up for an ultimate weapon we all know doesn't really pan out.

I'm not sure, this might be a bit of vanity project for Bezos. It is reportedly "under his protection" and is still on track for its original five season run and $1 billion dollar price tag.
