Is this the one Jamiroquai wrote Virtual Insanity after visiting?
LiminalSpace
Liminal spaces are the subject of an Internet aesthetic portraying empty or abandoned places that appear eerie, forlorn, and often surreal. Liminal spaces are commonly places of transition (pertaining to the concept of liminality) or of nostalgic appeal.

This place confuses me. Random Toshiba ad with both English and Japanese. Chinese signs hanging from the ceiling. Person on the left in a chador (?). Where the fuck is this?
I was going to guess maybe Malaysia for some reason.
I don't see Japanese anywhere other than on the Toshiba sign, but I do see what look like Chinese characters under Roman ones on further signs.
You're very close! This is in Jakarta, Indonesia
Looks like the women on the left is wearing some sort of hijab. So certainly possible.
Lol, I didn't even realize there's the gal in hijab
Thats not underground, its inside a mall. You can clearly see daylight through the doors at the end.
Is it underground? Is it inside a mall? Why not both?
What doors? That's an ad.
No its not. This is an SM mall supermarket. Its a standardized floor plan. They have them all over SE Asia.
And I clearly see at least three people and evidence of two more. I get it, they're going after that Backrooms vibe but it fell a little short.
