Sometimes the best joke is one you're knot expecting.
These puns are starting to needle me.
Idk, it’s got me in stitches.
Edit: Damnit, I’m a-frayed I didn’t see the title, I’ll just weave a few more in here.
Some jokes are more than they seam
Omg, Erika Moen from Penny Arcade’s Strip Search? Wow, I haven’t thought about that in years!
I'd have said from Dar! or Oh Joy Sex Toy myself
I always think its genuinely cute when people are recognized from tiny obscure appearances and not the massive mainstream thing's they're famous for.
But which one is parallel to the selvage
Update: this one is for the two sewing nerds who upvoted this. The warp is parallel to the selvage. Add THAT to your cutesy mnemonic.
Warp is up and down. Weft is weft to wight. Crashing at warp would leave a long trail to selvage.
I always think "warp speed ahead" followed by a hand gesture for the benefit of number one.
"But Keptin, ze worp drive is not responding. Should I engage the weft drive?"
Engage!
That's how I would remember it, weft is left (and right) and warp is the other way.
