Pink! Pink, pink, pink. 🩷 But no changes. I wear pink all year.
WomensStuff
Women only trans inclusive This is an inclusive community for all things women. Whether you're here for make up tips, feminism or just friendly chit chat, we've got you covered.
Rules…
- Women only… trans women are women, and transphobic or gender critical talk isn’t allowed. Anyone under the trans umbrella (e.g. non-binary, bigender, agender) is free to decide whether a women's community is a good fit for them.
- Don’t be a dick. No personal attacks, no aggression, play nice.
- Don’t hate on groups, hatefilled talk about groups is not allowed. Ever.
- No governmental politics, so no talk of Trump actions etc. We recommend Feminism@beehaw.org for that, but here is an escape from it.
- New accounts or users with few comments may have their posts removed to prevent spam and bad-faith participation.
I'm still wearing work t-shirts from 3 jobs ago 🤣🤣 I have no idea how to dress like an adult anymore. Jeans and t-shirts for life lol.
Yes. The clothes that are usually styled as summer clothes (cut and fabric weight) tend to come in different and lighter colors.
I tend to wear more blood reds, rust oranges, deep purples, dark teals, and hunter greens in the fall/winter.
I tend to wear more sage greens, corals, creams, and light grays in the spring/summer.
Blacks and charcoal grays are always in for me though!
Uh your fall color palette sounds beautiful!
nope its black all year for me. summer just means more skin showing.
lol I was going to say exactly this. Great minds think alike. 🐦⬛ ☀️
My summer clothes are often lighter shades of my winter clothes. A lot of my sweaters are olive green, rusty red, burgundy and charcoal gray. My t-shirts, dresses and skirts are more in the vicinity of sage, dusty pink and lighter gray. It's not really exclusive, though, and I think to some degree has to do with what colours the clothes are available in.
Kinda, my clothes fade so any vibrancy wears out by September.
I work outdoors so I don’t really get much respite.
If you feel this community as a women's only community (women, trans, etc are welcome) is a good fit for you, then you're welcome to comment :)
Otherwise, there's some 'Ask Lemmy' type communities that could use the same question! I bet there'd be some interesting response from some of the men on Lemmy as well!
Ok, thanks. I’ll obviously pop back to look at anything that interests me here but in the future I’ll leave the discussion for those the community is intended for.
Thank you so much for being understanding :)
In the summer my outfits are more colorful, same goes for the spring (when it’s warm enough). Fall and winter my clothes are darker colored overall.
Winter clothes are often in muted colours, so yes ... otherwise I'd be in super bright colours year round :-)
Yes! My wardrobe is definitely more colorful and lighter in the summer. I’m usually a skater/punk/goth at heart so my style doesn’t change much, but I do pull some white band shirts and some patterned dresses when it’s hot!
