You will notice that it's such a stupidly car crazy country that 2x the official car parking capacity of that street is used by having all the cars on the right side parked on top of the sidewalk (something offically against the rules but totally normal in Portugal).
It’s a shame, plus the weather is so nice year round its lovely place to walk/bike/transit.
It's one of the handful of things that make me be ashamed of my countrymen.
