I still get automated "the alarm has been activated" from my old job, and both me and my former boss have called the company to ask them to take me off and they're like "sure!"

...and then a week later I get another call.

There's a lot of shit like there where I assume changing info requires the IT department to fight a dragon or some shit cuz nobody ever seems able to change it.

Block it.

They shouldn't have been asking you to use your personal phone number in the first place.

If its owned by private equity you got a skeleton crew that never has time to care about a phone number change. Can you block the number? I would.

I kept getting false alarm calls at 2 am at my last job so I just blocked the number.
