It always cracked me up how offended conservatives get when they joke about Soros, and I keep it going.

I've tried that, the smart ones get defensive and deflective, the dumb ones give blank looks. Conservatives thrive under a victim mentality, so I don't give them their hallowed ground.
Volcalizing their dipshit views with sufficiently caustic sarcasm is much, much more effective!

Well... huh. That's actually a pretty good article.
Obviously it's pro-law enforcement and advocates such charming concepts as the importance of duty over conscience, but it's also clearly written by someone that's pretty well educated on anarchist philosophy and knows their shit about the organization of political movements in the US. It also doesn't absolve the police of culpability for inciting violence. Given how often it's brought up for people to dunk on the police, I kinda expected it to be... I'm not sure. A little bit less uncomfortably accurate in both it's characterization and predictions. Don't love that.

I'm starting to think Soros isn't following through on the deal we made. It's we destroy or at least work towards destroying western civilization and we are doing our job but I haven't met anyone who got the promised check yet.
Why is this hard to understand? In pre-industrial times, people lived very simple lives. If people today were willing to live the lifestyle of a Medieval peasant, most people with white collar jobs could work just a few years and then retire. So if you start an anarchist group that seeks to provide just the bare necessities of life to people, it can be done very affordably. 95% of the economy is luxuries. (If you define "luxury" as beyond basic subsistence.)
in the US you have to work a fulltime job for health insurance, because of shitty public transport you also need a car. You have to have stable housing or at least an address for mail to go to. There are certainly ways to make these things cheaper like having roommates or carpooling, but the system is set up to keep us working full time. Many of the cheaper living situations such as living in a car or RV are being legislated into crimes. Private equity is buying up apartments and mobile home parks to raise the rent by insane amounts. Just live simply isn't so simple if you need healthcare.
And EVERYBODY needs, or will need, health care. None of us gets out of here alive.
I'm kinda just planning to die and leave my moderate savings to my family when I get to that point. Better they have it than some healthcare executive.
