Glad someone put it clearly in writing, but unfortunately this has been a thing for years. Hopefully it will change, because the civilians don’t deserve the cruelty they’re being dealt. It at least seems like more EU member states are starting to wake up to this, but how long it will take to make that into policy and action is debatable.
