Surprised it’s not “Bullets stopped by disabled Palestinian’s body after leaving Israeli soldier’s firearm”

Moving image shows unidentified humanoid figure appearing to be clad in clothes often worn by military personnel operate a projectile weapon in close proximity to man of middle-eastern descent, who bears some indication of being mentally disabled.

Not enough passive voice.

Moving image shows unidentified humanoid figure appearing to be clad in clothes often worn by military personnel to be involved in an event in which a projectile weapon was operated in close proximity to man of middle-eastern descent, who bears some indication of being mentally disabled.

There’s a possibility they were concerned “man in fatigues” was a vigilante. I’m actually ok with that terminology if they couldn’t verify if he was a soldier.

the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) later confirmed to CNN that Israeli soldiers had been involved in a confrontation with a mentally disabled man near Hebron on Tuesday and said its Military Police were investigating the encounter.

Nah, I was looking at the article with the original headline and they already had confirmation from the IDF that it was them.
