Gonna be honest, this isn't my experience, a lot of stuff just doesn't work on Windows anymore

I can get those same programs to work fairly easily on linux though using Wine/Proton

Same here, no matter what they do now they've made it extremely clear what they think about their users, even if something happened tomorrow and the fediverse somehow went down (which would be a feat unto itself) I'm never touching reddit again

The SteamDeck, you can take it with you anywhere and it's a computer that trumps anything they'd have even imagined. as for the game, Honestly I think something like modded Minecraft, something with a vast open world for sure

I only just started using linux on my laptop like a year and a half ago, I hoped around at first but then around a year ago landed on Fedora with KDE, and haven't used anything else (besides SteamOS) sense
