"I will make it legal"

-Capitalists since before Reagan, but especially and most successfully during and after Reagan.

They've literally made political bribery as legal as ~~apple pie~~ assault rifles, you think some consumer protection laws will stand in the way of their greed?

Imagine taking pride in this fucking gold plated cesspool we call the US.

It boggles the mind.

Promise?

Just kidding, his promises are worthless.

Justice would be them dying and the many societies people like them destroyed for self-enrichment that lived in equilibrium with nature, like the Native Americans, thriving again.

I agree with you. Justice isn't on the table.

Eco-fascism would be putting a gun against people's head and telling them to stop destroying our only habitat.

Acknowledging we're destroying our only habitat isn't eco-fascism, it's just acceptance of the situation.

It's not about justice. It's about homeostasis. The guy and possibly his kids will be fine in their luxury climate bunkers as the world grows more bleak and they bark orders remotely until there's no one left alive or dumb enough to keep listening.

The thing is though, what we've done and are doing right now will take millions of years to heal. Nothing to Earth's 3.8 billion year old story of life, but effectively eternity to our monkey brains. I just don't see our species putting down our shovel and living within our ecological means when that would mean necessary decline in our quality of life and intentional population control over time. We were warned for a century. We are feeling the effects. Scientists are noting new runaway effects conservative estimates didn't account for. We need to stop 30 years ago, and we won't even stop today.

I don't consider it justice, I consider it wholesale refusal as a species to live within our ecological means. We just keep digging, and the consequences, the physics, don't care why.

I don't think there's a specific one yet, though insults towards such people abound.

Its certainly an extention of misanthropy though.

Sometimes, you just need to wipe the drawing board clean and start over. 🤷👋 🔥

I curse with abandon in front of my kid, not at him, just in conversation. Expletives are part of language, and are just more words for the toolbox, useful in adding a little spice or emphasis to a point.

If a teacher ever contacts me to say they used a vulgar word, my first question that will inform my response, if any, will be "how did they use it, specifically?"

I see our, the US's, childish aversion to curse words as part of its childish puritanical roots based in wilfill ignorance. Guns all day, but ahhhhh dirty words! Ahhhhh boobies! Our response to such things are what's embarrassing.

If you want me to take anyone's censorship of anything seriously in this cesspool, start by advocating censoring glorification of "muh 2A," and maybe I'll take you seriously.

Would I hurt other people in some strange hypothetical to literally save my family's life from certain death? Maybe, and I'd be guilt ridden about it for the rest of my life.

Would I hurt people to make more money? Of course not, and that's not a defensible reason to hurt others... at all, and it makes you deeply broken at your core, especially as habit.

Really the only thing I can think of as a more horrifying reason to be cruel to others than "for money herp derp" would be "because its fun!"

Hurting others for profit in the name of business shouldn't be a defense, it should be considered an admission of guilt and come with consequences.
