Meth has always beem a popular party drug, and has always entered the country in wild vectors like this. I think what has changed is the DEA is no longer cracking down on illegal marijuana imports aince half the states now have legalized growth in some capacity or another. No sense in shipping pot to Wisconsin or Indiana when every state they border has a dispenseries directly across the state line. The DEA has to show that they are doing something, so they are cracking down on meth now
Pretty crazy that imported food is finding it's way into a farmer's market in the first place. My local farmers market is pretty stringent on what is allowed and eant proof that your produce or wares were produced within 100 miles of the city.
Actually, the American Southern dialect is believed to be closer to the English Shakespeare would have spoken than modern British accents. the same os believed to be true for the Quebec accent, as the groups that settled these areas became isolated and evolved at a slower pace than the home countries. So American is closer to the legacy version, while British is the modern one.

Notes from baking these, but my powdered egg substitute was not useful. I had a lot of issue gettting the dough to come together and ended up using way more oil than is usually necessary for biscotti. They al holding shape, but they were definitely more crumbly than i was originally hoping for.

The phyllo dough took me a bit to figure out, but once i realized you just need to starch the shit out if it while rolling and just keep stacking it, it worked out great! My bottom layer is fucked, the middle one a little thick, but the top layer was absolutely magical
