Try it. We've done it before, and it often yields a bit more than the average we've seen. Down in south Texas

I played a casual game and got kicked. If it was ranked, I would understand, but it was casual!

DIY A/C questions (unilem.org)

I'm looking to change out my whole A/C system. Since I'm in Texas, I'd like to do it in the winter or, at least in the next couple of months, would rather be recommended, or should I wait until summertime?

Still need parts and to buy a vacuum pump for said repair

I like the memes, but that's it. I use Linux, sure, but I also have to use Windows for a few programs because WINE doesn't work with said programs, and the alternatives aren't the best

With that being said, would I prefer Linux to be mainstream? Yes. Will it ever be? Probably not. Too many people just want something that works out of the box and don't want to spend hours fixing some obscure bug.

I am a nerd. Therefore, I am okay spending time working on my machine and making sure everything runs well. I have previously looked at an OS that doesn't seem to work or is starting to have issues and completely swap to a different distro using a base I have used and know will work 100% of the time

Might be able to find a flatpak and use flatseal to restrict it as much as possible

As others have been saying, it's most likely a Java issue.

Make sure to install (or reinstall) Java8 and make sure it's selected in the prism launcher for use under v1.8.9 specifically. That way, you can continue to play using Java17 on recent versions a bit simpler than having to constantly swap Java versions

There is no AC in the truck, and I live in Texas. Definitely can't wait for winter (that's the only time it's cold)

I can understand monero since you can actually use it as a currency on some certain websites, but that's basically it. I do not care about crypto anymore because of the almost toxic culture it can brew.

Back when reddit was a thing, I asked how to even start with crypto (what type of wallet, general set up general use etc) and just didn't even talk about the actual mining (I remember saying something around the lines of "I'm looking to mine because it's supposed to get extra cold this winter, I do not care about actually getting any crypto" and those dense mfers kept linking a website that calculates how much I would make with the cost of electricity and the efficiently of it all... like.... I didn't even care about making anything, I just didn't want it going into the ether)

Anyways that's my rant

The worst a priest said, around where I live at least, is that "you should vote within your beliefs as a catholic. Primary issue is abortion, I'm not telling you how to vote but I am asking that you do your research and try to vote within the beliefs of the church"

Other than that, politics was NEVER talked about

It will slow when nuclear is the main energy source, especially in the United States (its currently ~47%)

Nuclear can also get recycled, and for the average American, the actual waste that can no longer be recycled is about a soda can (standard 12 ounce can)

Imo, the US needs to work toward nuclear usage being 90-95% instead of using coal. There's still a need for natural gas but it can be minimized

It's supposed to mimic how you scroll on your phone. Fine for TouchPads (depending on when you learned to use it(i.e., if you learned to use a touch pad after learning to use a smart phone then it would make, slightly, more sense)), abhorrent for mice.

Same with fedora iirc.

I've used fedora for a long time and pretty much had the same experience you described. It works until some random obscure program doesn't like Wayland.
