That feature isn't built into YT? I have it set on my browser to where the video needs to be manually started (excluding playlists).

I hit that point, needed to add a few things and changed settings around, and everything broke. I tinker with little things way too much to use Nix.

Ublock Origin is the only mandatory extension i can think of.

Some other extensions I personally use are:

Gesturefy is useful if you want to control things with mouse gestures (holding right-click and then drawing a shape to activate commands)

NoScript for a little added security, with the cost of having to manually enable javascript on websites that literally can't function without it.

Any extension that runs userscripts.

Dark Reader for websites that don't offer a dark mode.

I prefer wired accessories. They don't need to be charged, and I don't have to worry about them having connection issues.

Piratebay is still around, but it lacks good moderation. I've heard that it's still fine to use for non-executable files such as media.

This comment made me realize I haven't installed thefuck on my most recent linux installation. I have evolved past the point of making common mistakes.

I would have already went back to reddit if it wasn't for the ability to block communities.

I feel the same way. I mostly just been using lemmy on my work breaks, and the last thing I want to see while stressed out is American politics.

Steam already keeps a client-side log of the device's hardware specs. Hopefully it will just be as simple as letting Steam automatically parse through the relevent bits and attach it to the review.
